Carol Hennigan has been selected as UP Health System – Bell’s 2016 Mercy Award Winner.
Each spring, the Mercy Award is given to one employee from each of LifePoint Health’s 72 hospitals who exemplifies the spirit and values upon which the company was founded. Created and named in honor of the late Scott Mercy, LifePoint’s founding chairman and CEO, this award is the highest accolade that a LifePoint Health employee can receive. It recognizes individuals who:
- consistently go above and beyond the call of duty;
- demonstrate a level of commitment and caring that transcends the everyday;
- respect others in everything they do; and
- inspire others with their compassion, dedication and merciful spirit.
Carol, who works as Decision Support Coordinator in our Accounting Department embodies each of these characteristics and so much more.
Over the last 20 years Carol has been involved in many committees at the hospital. Always giving 110% to the project at hand. When problems occur, Carol will always come with suggestions to correct or improve the situation. Carol has always been an instrumental piece of our patient satisfaction initiative. Carol reviews the data and performs deep dives to help us improve our customer’s experience.
Carol inspires everyone she comes in contact with. She greets everyone with a smile and is willing to help anyone in need. Carol’s professional appearance and dedication to UP Health System – Bell is evident each and every day.
